Altr is the world's first luxury collectible marketplace exclusively transacted through cryptocurrency. We created a liquid-inspired identity system and applied it to a crypto-commerce experience, blending web best practices with emerging features of Web 3.0, such as fractionalized transactions and secondary market trading.

One of our major challenges on Altr was the complex product purchase system. With seven purchase flows, user accounts, secondary markets, and seller pages, we needed to build a robust design system. This required us to deconstruct client-provided wireframes to understand the functionality of the diverse elements while carefully observing user behavior to ensure effective design decisions.

As a result of the launch, Altr successfully sold a Ferrari F40 supercar for $2.5M within 48 hours and issued digital proofs of ownership for each collectible sold through the site.
